Public Participation Plan
An effective transportation planning process must include participation from the public. As Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), we must create a plan outlining the policies, procedures, and strategies we will utilize to engage the public before, during, and after the planning process.
Each region will have their own approach to public engagement because it is important for each organization to understand how to best reach the affected and potentially disadvantaged populations within their own region.
